 Per discussion lead by Jean-Michel Pouré on macports-devel
 [http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-
 dev/2009-January/007102.html]
 the attached patch sets default_variants to include all available optional
 codecs on the grounds that the spirit of the distribution is to provide
 support for conversion between as many different encodings as possible.
 In addition, by limiting the default selection of codecs in ffmpeg, the
 functionality of ports that
 depend upon ffmpeg (sox, kdenlive, gstreamer, etc) are correspondingly
 reduced as well.

 This includes
