#19320: py25-scipy doesn't build
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
 Reporter:  user8472@…          |       Owner:  ram@…
     Type:  defect              |      Status:  assigned
 Priority:  Normal              |   Milestone:
Component:  ports               |     Version:  1.7.1
 Keywords:                      |        Port:  py25-numpy, py26-numpy, py25-scipy, py26-scipy
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Changes (by ram@…):

 * cc: mcalhoun@… (added)
  * port:  py25-scipy py26-scipy => py25-numpy, py26-numpy, py25-scipy,
           py26-scipy

Comment:

 Whilst the build error presents itself in scipy I think the actual issue
 in numpy. I attached some patches to see if they help.

  * `patch-revert_r6792_r6798.diff`: reverts a couple of upstream commits
 that they think is the cause of the problem
  * `py25-numpy.diff`: applies the above revert patch and bumps the
 revision for py25-numpy
  * `py26-numpy.diff`: applies the above revert patch and bumps the
 revision for py26-numpy

 Can you see if applying these patches have any effect? I still am unable
 to reproduce this build error on my Intel Leopard MBP.
