 Sorry, thats rubbish from me, libpng is in /opt/local/lib.
 This will compile if a -L${prefix}/lib is added to the g++ line.  The
 Makefile is generated by qmake so somehow qmake needs to be told to that
 ${prefix}/lib should be a searched library path.
