 I don't think this is true for the current release (and I don't think it
 should be true for our next release - to many things don't work with
 parallel build turned on and no one has even tried it with many of the
 ports).

 the poll test fails (crashes) when I build 1.3.6, and I'd like to look at
 that before I version bump apr
