Comment:

 The patch was partially applied in r53864 with the update to 1.0.0_0; the
 part that wasn't committed prevented VLC.app from being installed. I
 committed the last bit in r53998 and bumped the revision to 1.0.0_1 so
 everyone will again have VLC.app.
