 The Xcode version checking code that I added to a few ports once has now
 made its way into 20 ports. While I still ultimately want MacPorts base to
 take care of it (see #12794) for now it can be moved into a PortGroup as
 [http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-dev/2009-July/009420.html
 suggested by blb].
