New description:

 The mysql5-server port failed to be accessing after executing the
 following commands on Snow Leopard build 10A411:

   - sudo launchctl load -w
 /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.mysql5.plist
   - sudo -u mysql mysql_install_db5
   - reboot
   - mysql5 -u root

 ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
 '/opt/local/var/run/mysql5/mysqld.sock' (2)
 }}}

 Is there a missing step somewhere?
