Comment:

 If you look at the output message when dbus installed, there are the
 instructions to run:
 {{{
 sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 system.plist
 sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 session.plist
 }}}

 If gnucash still does not work, please try rebooting.
