Comment:

 There were some changes in 1.7 that broke Macports_Framework. Also, Pallet
 isn't in a state for consumption. Our summer of code student is working on
 a GUI for Macports as well as adding improvements and stabilization to the
 Framework.

 I will go ahead and remove / disable both the MacPorts_Framework and
 Pallet ports since new versions of those should be coming along soon. I
 will close this ticket and another one can be opened after GSoC if there
 are still issues with the GUI / Framework.
