 I've attached a Portfile for wxwidgets-2.8.9.2 that works for me.  It
 pulls wxwidgets from the wxpython source tarball, and hence compatibility
 is assured.  Some cleanup is likely necessary before it can go in the SVN
 port tree.  Also, I notice that wxpython 2.8.10.1 has been released, and
 so maybe both wxwidgets and wxpython can be updated to 2.8.10.x.
