Comment:

 Added in r52772, thanks, with a few changes:
  - added dependencies on libpng and jpeg since it links to those as well
  - removed redundant settings for distname, worksrcdir, and use_configure
  - removed --prefix=${prefix} from configure.args since that's already set
 in configure.pre_args
