 At this point, the only remaining change I'd like to make is a
 "default_arch" setting that allows users to (attempt to) force MacPorts to
 use a specific architecture. This will benefit SnowLeopard users who want
 to build i386 (more likely to work). It will also benefit Leopard users,
 many of whom would like to build 64-bit binaries without tricking our
 flaky universal support into doing it.
