 }}}

 shows several mirrors returning errors for this port so he may be getting
 a different mirror than you.
 If the above doesn't work try
 {{{
 sudo port clean --all libgpg-error
 sudo port -d checksum libgpg-error
 }}}

 to see which mirror is causing problems if any
