 Unfortunately, there was no solution mentioned.

 Just to rule out the usual suspects,
    * Is MacPorts fully up to date (port clean qt4-mac; port selfupdate)?
    * Are you running the latest XCode?
    * Is there anything in /usr/local or /sw?
    * What version of Mac OS X are you running?
