 I'm also having this problem, though I guess it's now KMyMoney 0.9.2.  I'm
 using MacPorts 1.7, Leopard 10.5.6 PPC, with a clean install as specified.
 Debug log attached.

 The specified directory is definitely there: `ls -lTR` attached, in case
 that will help determine at what stage the directory is being created in
 the first place.

 Any help is appreciated.
