Comment:

 Looks like the problem is /usr/bin/gmsgfmt

 Try the following and see if that fixes things

 {{{
 sudo port install gettext
 sudo port clean gimp2
 sudo port install gimp2
 }}}

 If so, there's a missing build dependency in gimp2
