 I want to thank the preceeding comment. I tried and it worked!, but I get
 this msg from the command line:
 Xlib:  extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0".
 I am afraid that this msg will provoke some malfunctioning of grace
 Is that a good or bad msg?
