 I don't think so as it isn't a MacPorts issue at all.  Its an upstream
 developer issue.  They need to deal with the
 new API and the removal of the deprecated ones from trunk.  This is the
 nature of -devel ports.  They are there to
 let people get some exposure to what's going on in upstream development
 but there are no guarantees as we don't maintain
 the code.
