Comment:

 Did you install MacFuse via macports?
         The next thing to do is to look at config.log and see if it
 indicates why it didn't find fuse.h.

         Can you also post the changes you made to the afflib Portfile to
 activate the +fuse variant?

         It might also be good to check the contents of the macfuse port
 (port contents macfuse) to make sure the required includes, etc. are
 there.

         Also see http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18671  - a request that
 macfuse be updated to latest.
