 Yes, bingo. /opt/local/include/ftconfig.h provided by the flow-tools port.
 A completely different ftconfig.h than the one FreeType expected. So the
 bug is that freetype isn't looking for its own ftconfig.h first. I'll
 report this to the developers. Thanks so much for helping us isolate the
 cause of the problem.
