 TeXLive 2008 was released at the end of last year.  MacTeX has upgraded to
 2008 as have many other distros.  This ticket is just a request that such
 a port is created by someone with an interest in TeX and the ability to
 maintain the port.

 The current TeXLive 2007 port has nomaintainer (at time of this ticket's
 submission).
