 I managed to get it to build by hand-editing one of the CMake files:

 {{{vim
 /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_kde_kdepimlibs4/work/build/kcal/CMakeFiles/kcal.dir/link.txt}}}

 Replacing {{{-framework libical}}} with {{{/opt/local/lib/libical.dylib}}}
 and re-running the make command seems to do the trick.
