 I ran into a similar problem with py26-matplotlib, sometimes the build
 would fail to find pygtk2 and I had no idea why; the only ''solution''
 that was found was to add
 `PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${python.prefix}/lib/pkgconfig/"` to `build.env`
