 I have reproduced this error on a 64bit system running 10.6. GDB on xmgr
 gives the following:

 Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory.
 Reason: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at address: 0x00007fff00000000
 0x0000000100512d89 in XrmStringToQuark ()
