 I am able to reproduce your issue if I set build_arch to "i386 x86_64" in
 macports.conf. If you've set build_arch that way, then please change it
 back to "x86_64" only. build_arch is not intended to have more than one
 value. If you want to build for multiple architectures at once, then you
 need to set universal_archs instead and use the +universal variant when
 installing ports.
