 Let me try it again from home.  Nice. that.  I'm wiping the file now.

 Running: port -R upgrade --force --enforce-variants  fontconfig +macosx
 +universal

 It errored so I manually deleted all the libraries.  It finally re-
 installed fine.   It would be nice to know the port command to just wipe
 out a particular library.  All good now I hope!
