 I have attached the two log dumps that you have requested. Thank you JMR
 for telling me that I can attach - I just could not find the buttons.
 I ran

 {{{
 sudo port -f uninstall installed
 }}}

 and then tried the xorg-server install. At no time did I single out any
 file for deletion ( e.g. ps2pdf ).
 At this point, I am just following directions - mostly blindly. Thanks for
 your patience.
