 > I assume you meant Core 2 Duo, as the Core Duo can't run 64-bit code
(which the crash log says it is). Is your libXm provided by openmotif or
 lesstif?
Yes, Intel Core 2 Duo. As for where libXm came from, I have no idea. I
have been working towards restoring the apps that I used on my older
laptop. Moved to this one, and have completely removed all MacPorts, and
started from scratch with new Xcode and the latest MacPorts. I now have a
 very few apps running under the MacPorts X11 ( xorg-server ) .
How can I tell how I got the libXm ? I started with nothing, added xorg-
server, which failed twice until I manually did libX11 and openssl ( if I
 recall correctly ) .
Next step? Thanks for your time.
BTW: joined the xephem group, searched for a similar form of crash log
output and found no mention of XtAddCallback reported.
