 Then this is a duplicate of #17049. pango 1.24.5 +quartz will not work on
 64-bit, which is how things build by default on Snow Leopard. Either don't
 use +quartz, or set build_arch to i386 in macports.conf and rebuild all
 ports, or wait until pango is updated to the next version, which should
 support 64-bit +quartz builds. Unfortunately there is something else wrong
 with pango 1.26.0; we tried updating to that version but it caused a lot
 of programs to become unusably slow so we had to roll back that update.
 Hopefully future versions of pango will function correctly again.
