New description:

I'm trying to install wine, and I get an error while wine builds mesa. I
am using a intel-based macbook on OS X 10.4.11. (This ticket is very
similar to Ticket #21801, but i am installing for the first time instead
 of upgrading) [[br]]
I've tried to uninstall macport, and reinstall everything, but the same
 thing happens. [[br]]
Is there a way I can chose to install older versions of mesa instead of
the newest one when i install wine?

 Thanks a lot!

Comment:

 Replying to [ticket:21941 hamham4001@…]:
 > I'm trying to install wine, and I get an error while wine builds mesa. I

similar to Ticket #21801, but i am installing for the first time instead

It's exactly the same error, so I'm closing this as a duplicate of #21801.

 > Is there a way I can chose to install older versions of mesa instead of
the newest one when i install wine?

 See the [wiki:howto/InstallingOlderPort InstallingOlderPort how-to].

Also please remember WikiFormatting in the future.
