Comment:

 We tried updating pango to 1.26.0 when it first came out, but it
 [ticket:21624 broke everything]. The developers of pango need to resolve
 [https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593240 their bug] before we
 can update pango any higher.
