Comment:

 The FAQ entry should say to file a bug if there is something that needs to
 be changed in the portfile, but so far I don't think there is. Perhaps the
 wording in the FAQ entry needs to be clarified.

 What file do you have at
 /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/php5/php-5.3.0.tar.bz2? Is it a bzip2
 file (as determined by the "file" command)? How big is it in bytes? Does
 it decompress (using "bunzip2")? Or is it perhaps an HTML page? If so,
 what does it say?
