 What is the result of running the following?

 $ lipo -info /opt/local/lib/libexpat.dylib
 }}}
 If you have a 64bit-capable processor and the result says i386, you need
 to see the [wiki:Migration Migration page] if this isn't a completely new
 install of MacPorts with 10.6.
