 Please note that two different error logs are provided.

 The one posted by jan.hosang with undefined _compress and _uncompress
 symbols can be fixed by installing libz with universal variant:
 sudo port install libz +universal

 After that compilation continues and stops with errors posted by
 huahang.liu - lipo complaining about unknown architecture of some .out
 files in /var/tmp.
