#21006: libusb or libusb-compat do not recognize Canon LIDE 25 correctly
------------------------------+---------------------------------------------
Reporter: kurtjaeke@… | Owner: macports-tickets@…
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version: 1.8.0
Keywords: | Port: libusb libusb-compat
------------------------------+---------------------------------------------
The MacPorts installation of libusb and libusb-compat still do not
correctly identify my scanner. The binaries provided by
[http://www.ellert.se/twain-sane/], however, work.
This issue is not related to the sane-backends port, as this scanner is
supported by sane for quite some time already.
See the output of sane-find-scanner and "scanimage -L" attached for both
cases.

No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).
$ /usr/local/bin/scanimage -L

flatbed scanner
