 I believe so, because the muniversal portgroup, which db46 uses, uses
 `-m64` and `-m32` instead of `-arch` flags when possible, and db46 seems
 to respond well to this. But building a port "universal" for a single
 architecture is a hack. The universal variant is designed for building for
 multiple architectures. So it would make most sense to build db46 (and
 your other ports) universal for x86_64 and i386, which works for me on
 Snow Leopard.
