Comment:

 Matthew, in what way is the universal build of freetds not working for you
 at present? It built an x86_64/i386 universal for me on Snow Leopard. For
 what universal_archs did you try, and what happened? You are on Snow
 Leopard as well?

 I don't understand why you're making the second set of changes you're
 making in your patch, replacing the libtool on Snow Leopard only, and why
 you're not using the libtool in MacPorts.

 Joshua, I thought we were keeping the MacPorts version number in tickets?
