 Well, r57037 fixed the build if build_arch is set to i386 in
 macports.conf. If it isn't, it still tries to build 64-bit, which still
 fails. Forcing 32-bit build in r57148.

 That still leaves things broken when building universal if universal_archs
 contains a 64-bit arch.
