Comment(by iandennismiller@…):
I am trying to build on 10.5, and I receive this error:
{{{

"/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_python26/work/Python-2.6.2"
&&
/usr/bin/make -j1 all MAKE="/usr/bin/make CC=/usr/bin/gcc-4.0" " returned
error 2
Command output: /usr/bin/gcc-4.0 -L/opt/local/lib -u _PyMac_Error

Modules/python.o \

_main in python.o
"_PyMac_Error", referenced from:

}}}
I am upgrading from python26 2.6.2_3 < 2.6.2_4
I am running OSX 10.5.7 on a MBP 1,1
I looked at the thread linked above, and I have a few questions:
1) is the problem only patched in the subversion ports, or is it supposed
to be patched in the release ports as well?
2) is the solution supposed to work with 32-bit 10.5 installations?
Sorry if this is supposed to be evident from the thread you linked to, but
I wasn't able to replicate the results posted above. Any help is
appreciated.
