 Does anyone know how to force MacPorts to build in 32 bit mode in a
 portfile? I tried making a variant that added "-arch i386" to cxxflags,
 and now make is calling "-arch i386 -arch x86_64" and is complaining about
 multiple architectures being set.

 All combinations of configure.*-delete "-arch x86_64" don't remove the
 second -arch flag.
