Comment:

 As Tiger is no longer one of the 'supported' versions, I'm going to close
 this ticket.

 I'm happy to add a patch for this, if someone else can generate it and
 test it.

 In the meantime, if you're using Tiger, you can work-around the problem
 fairly simply.
