 I've worked on the ports that comprise the MAMP stack, but the MAMP guide
 in the wiki was created by someone else. I read through it recently and
 made a lot of adjustments for clarity and changes that had occurred in the
 MAMP ports, but that's about it. I haven't used phpMyAdmin in years so I
 don't know how it's changed lately.

 One thought I had was that the MAMP guide tells the user to create the
 file httpd-phpmyadmin.conf with a certain contents. I would suggest that
 it should instead be the phpMyAdmin port's responsibility to do that.
