 When there are Tiger users who still propose patches, you shouldn't close
 the ticket.

 The patch (see Portfile.diff) fixes the problem on Tiger. All what you
 need to do is to find someone who has Leopard (that shouldn't be too
 difficult to find...) and can test the patch to see if it doesn't make the
 build fail on Leopard. If everything is fine, then commit the patch.
 Otherwise one needs to set macosx_deployment_target only if the system is
 Tiger.
