Comment:

 Do you know why that patch works? I think it's just a side effect of the
 10.1 compilation environment, and it probably has other (not desired)
 effects as well.

 I will not be applying this patch, if someone wants to create one that
 fixes the build I would consider adding it to the port.

 In the meanwhile, anyone who experiences this problem has a simple and
 effective workaround already.
