 But you are right that this is inconsistent with the official home page.
 I will raise the question on the mailing list, since I have a shadow of a
 doubt now.

 I set the "stable_series" variable to use in the master_sites URL.  I
 thought that would make its purpose clearer than just putting "0.6-series"
 (or 0.5-series?) in the middle of the URL.  The maintainer reorganized the
 directory structure to do away with the "stable" label, or else I would
 have preferred to keep that.
