 1. povray configure checks for libpng >= 1.2.5 which fails, although
 1.2.38 is installed with port. The subsequent static build with the libpng
 sources provided by the povray package fails too, since its configure is
 never called.

 2. After manually fixing the libpng version number in the povray configure
 scripts, the build proceeeds, but new errors pop up, regarding the CPU
 selection. Log is attached.
