 i unistalled macports with the follofing commands:

 /Applications/MacPorts \
 /Applications/DarwinPorts \
 /Library/Tcl/macports1.0 \
 /Library/Tcl/darwinports1.0 \
 /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.* \
 /Library/StartupItems/DarwinPortsStartup \
 /Library/Receipts/MacPorts*.pkg \
 /Library/Receipts/DarwinPorts*.pkg \
 ~/.macports

 i installed gnuplot, and it worked. I tried to install another package (i
 choose DateLine) but i got this error, which i think is in any case
 related to Snow Leopard, isn't it?
