 I already committed a few other more minor updates, but I figured I should
 run this one by you before committing. Here is the commit message I was
 going to use which describes what all is done:

  molden: update to 4.8, also install some more doc files, always link with
 MacPorts X11 instead of just in the opengl variant, no longer hardcode
 /opt/local in opengl variant, remove Xcode 3.0 libGL.dylib workaround and
 require Xcode 3.1 on Leopard, use configure.compiler and add gcc43 and
 gcc44 variants with gcc43 the default because that is what was used for
 the previous port version; gcc44 can become the default later

 I don't know if the developers are still going to be doing those frequent
 stealth updates we saw in version 4.6. I left that machinery in the port
 for now.
