 Using MacPorts 1.7.1 with Mac OS X 10.3.9, attempted to install iperf.
 Als-G4:~ avarnell$ sudo port install iperf
 Password:
 --->  Fetching iperf
 --->  Attempting to fetch iperf-2.0.4.tar.gz from
 http://downloads.sourceforge.net/iperf
 --->  Verifying checksum(s) for iperf
 --->  Extracting iperf
 --->  Configuring iperf
 --->  Building iperf
 --->  Staging iperf into destroot
 --->  Installing iperf @2.0.4_0
 --->  Activating iperf @2.0.4_0
 Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error: iperf @2.0.4_0
 not installed as an image.
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

 Second attempt gave similar results.  Deleted receipt and got same result.

 Found the files in
 /opt/local/var/macports/software/iperf/2.0.4_0/opt/local/

 Manually copied them to /opt/local/bin & /opt/local/share/man/man1 and all
 seems to work.  Is that OK?  What is wrong?
