 Hi,

 I'm sorry that I didn't think to save the error.  I was in a panic.
 Unfortunately, unless there is a log file that I don't know about and that
 would have survived the re-installation of macports, I won't be able to
 provide the errors, except to say that it seemed to involve the output
 from the last one or two libraries before the install stopped.  I can't
 reproduce this without destroying Port again.

 I was hoping that something in the script might look incorrect to a
 maintainer, but maybe that is too hopeful.
